File
Transfer
Methods
E-mail
Due to the nature of E-mail file transfer it should be used mainly
for communication but it can be used to send small files via attachment.
Illustrator logos, fonts, and small B&W images are examples
of what should be sent by E-mail.
Guidelines
-
All
files
must
be
compressed
using
Stuffit
or
ZIP.

- The file size limit for attachments is 4MB on our E-mail server.
- Please place the name and preferably your Hederman Brothers
job number in the subject line of the E-mail.
- E-mail should be addressed to:
prepress.hederman@hederman.com
ShareFile
Files
greater
than
4MB
in
size
should
be
sent
to
our
ShareFile
site.
For
the
greatest
security
of
your
files
please
contact
your
Hederman
Brothers
representative
to
have
a ShareFile
account
set
up
for
you
or
to
get
an e-mail with a one-time upload link for
infrequent
users. You can access ShareFile at
Hederman.Sharefile.com.
Guidelines
- All files must be compressed using Stuffit or Zip. This creates
a smaller file size for quicker transfer and ensures the integrity
of the files during transfer across the Internet.
- Please place the name and preferably your Hederman Brothers
job number in the name of your compressed file.
- Transfer times are based on your network connection to the
Internet. Uploading via ShareFile is not recommended for customers with
a dial up connection.
- Hederman Brothers requires either hard copy or electronic proofs
(PDF or tiff) be sent so that the job can be checked to our ISO
quality standards. Hardcopy proofs can be faxed to 601.853.7335
or mailed overnight.
- Please contact your Hederman Brothers representative to get
ShareFile access information.
InSite™
InSite™ is revolutionary new software to the Hederman family that makes Internet-based communication between vendor and customer a convenient reality. Not only are you able to remotely access your print job, but you're able to upload press ready pdfs, proof pages, and approve to print. Please contact your Hederman Brothers representative to get a user account for InSite™. You can access InSite™ at InSite.Hederman.com.
Guidelines
- All PDFs submitted through InSite must be press ready using Hederman defined job options using Adobe Acrobat Distiller or any other Acrobat capable program. You can download the Acrobat job options here.
- Please place the name and preferably your Hederman Brothers
job number in the name of your exported, press ready pdf.
- Transfer times are based on your network connection to the
Internet. Uploading via InSite is not recommended for customers with
a dial up connection.
- Please contact your Hederman Brothers representative to get
InSite access information.
Traditional Methods
Hederman Brothers Printing accepts the following media for jobs
sent by traditional methods:
- DVD-RAM (5.2GB)
- DVD (4.7 GB)
- JAZZ (1GB & 2GB)
- CD
- ZIP (100MB & 250MB)
- SuperDisk (100MB)
- Floppy (Not recommended)
Hederman Brothers has DLT and DAT capabilities. Kindly attach the
catalog file to jobs provided on DLT or DAT media so that extra
charges are not incurred for the time required to catalog these
media formats.
